Question:

How do you clean a Cubic Zirconia (CZ) ring ?

I don't want to ruin it because its really pretty, but I dont want it to start to tarnish fast from too harsh of chemicals that arent meant for these kind of rings ! Thanks :)

Answer:

Softest Throw Blanket
Red Heart Light Lofty is the nicest yarn I have ever worked withIt is light and warm and very softIt's a weight group 6, so it works up quickly To make it even warmer, use a slightly smaller needle than is recommendedI think they suggest a 10mm (US 15) but I prefer using an 8mm (US11, I think) with itIt is incredibly easy to work with, too, as it doesn't come unraveled while you're working with it like some can(I hate Lion Brand Homespun!) After you've made it, your blanket will be machine wash warm, tumble dry medium and will reblock itself when you wash itIt lasts very nicely, tooEven though it is very soft and a bit fuzzy, it really is almost indestructo-yarnIn addition to all that, it also is absolutely beautiful when knitThere is no way you can go wrong with this yarn.
To clean the stone, squirt a little dishwashing liquid (Dawn, Palmolive, etc.) in a cup of warm waterScrub with a toothbrushIf there is space between the bottom point of the stone and the setting, scrub in there tooSince you're worried about tarnish, I'm guessing the setting is silverTo clean silver, put several strips of aluminum foil in a bowl and fill with very hot waterAdd a tablespoon of saltPut the ring in the salt water and swish it around with a plastic spoon or straw-don't use metal! The foil acts as a magnet for the tarnishLet it soak for a few minutesRinseRepeat if necessaryIf the setting is gold, you won't have to worry about tarnish.
