That is a good choice of reel for the price and combine it with a 7ft medium-action spinning rod. For the line I would go with a 10lb Berkley Vanish flourocarbon line if you're looking for a line that invisible underwater. For the tackle box, I would just get a nice backpack and buy a few lure boxes to put in it. I've got tackle boxes but I like to use my backpack instead because it is a lot easier to carry especially when I pounding the shorelines.
get a very loud alarm, or, they make alarms that are ridiculously hard to sleep through. i have heard of one that bounces around on the floor and it doesnt stop until you catch it.
A good first idea is to have multiple alarms. I use a clock radio and my cell phone. If you have a phone that vibrates on the alarm, wear shorts to bed and keep it in your pocket and the vibration may wake you up. You could even go as far as to tape it to your hand or something so you are sure to feel it. Put your alarm far away from your bed, and make it loud, like the radio. That way, you have to get up to shut it off and have no chance of falling back asleep by just hitting snooze. Get an alarm that uses the radio, and put it on a heavy metal station or something. That should be sure to wake you up.
