They say that radiant barrier paint really works.but for the life of me I can't see how a layer of silver paint on the underside of your roof can do any good at all.except make money for the company that sprays it onA deep layer of blown in insulation is you best investment.plus add a good attic ventilation system.which could be gable vents as well as power roof vents.and maybe even some under eve vents that allow the cooler air to enter at lower part and hotter air to escape up high through the power vents.
