Vacuum cleaners. Helpful because they suck up all the dust and that's a good thing. Harmful, because I have to spend at least an hour a week going round my house with one when I could be doing something way more interesting.

Reverse the story , would you have done everything made without machine ? Heck no !
Well they create more pollution and cause people to lose jobs sometimes. But they do make our lives easier. I'm glad I don't need to hand wash the clothing for example. Also they save lives like MRI machines, xrays, and so on.
