Question:

How is the ASE certification test in suspension is it hard and tell me what to watch out for ?

I been doing alignment for about 3 months and learn slot but I know it‘s more to learn so I was wondering what to expect on the suspension test

Answer:

ASE tests are hard no doubt. I have one in manual trans and drive train. I flunked the steering and suspension by one question. They ask, questions: 10 steering system diagnosis and repair 11 Suspension system diagnosis and repair 2 related suspension and steering service 12 wheel alignment diagnosis and repair 5 wheel and tire diagnosis and repair So there you go, read up on those things I just mentioned.
you can get books or online information on ASE certification through delmar learning or the ase site itself , now the books or online information has info on what material will be covered on the test . if you study all of that material and have been doing the work you should have no problem passing the test , there is also practice tests to take and they tell you what you get wrong and need to study up on.now come the real testing questions may be similar but not the same so be sharp when taking the real test. the suspension test can be difficult in some areas , but if you are doing that work all the time it should come more easily.
No not even close some dont make any of their own parts
I know Hyosung used to make engines for Suzuki, I imagine alot of the work is contractd out.
No they do not make every part. Mostly electrical parts but some hard parts are also purchased.Motorcycles have gotten like cars. Every brand imports parts and use them.
