How much does CV Axles cost?
new or rebuilt? what car? just axel or axel installed?
Depending on the car and where you live, you can get a rebuilt unit for between $60- $120. Thats been my experience. Call around to some parts places or check on-line.
I can get an axel for $!00 rebuilt. You have to take car to a shop and let them purchase the axel and install Don't buy an axel and take it to the repair shop. It is probable the wrong part. They have to put the same axle back in as they took out. Where I live their is a Axle repair store. Usually takes 3 hours if they are not busy.
It has to be melted and mixed with other elements. You cannot do this at home. If you cannot think of uses for steel, you are in deep trouble.
