If you use OEM parts, you can probably pick up a used one for about $100. 5 bolts on one side, 2 on the other. Drop the cat. Put the new one in place. Welding one in would probably be difficult to do in the stock location.
About $100. Car on hoist. Remove cat, install generic after market cat make adjustments as needed, little bit of welding. Easy.
