Your rear axle would cost about $125 to $175. It is called a drag axle. Just about any salvage yard would have one. 1995-2002 Cavalier or Sunfire would work
Autozone doesn't sell rear axles. You'd have to get a used one from a salvage yard or have a new one purchased and replaced at the Chevy Dealership or buy one at the dealership and have your favorite mechanic install it. Unless you really know how to work on cars, I wouldn't attempt to install this yourself. Personally, between the cost of the rear axle and the work to remove the bad one and replace it with the good one, I think it's not worth repairing. You might end up spending more than the car is worth.
