If you have one in the bathroom it may get a short circuit due to the moisture. But I can't see why you would have one there. Try not to get the detector wet that is all I can say really.
So in others words she's concerned that there may be more than just paying the fine on the parking summons?! My suggestion is she clearly think to recall any event she may have in her past that may have resulted in the issuance of an arrest warrant. If, for instance, there is the occassion of another ticket where she owes but hasn't paid. Have her call the local clerks office or district attorneys office to determine what the pay-out would be to clear up any outstanding issues. Best wishes.
You need to install a gas detection device in case you have a gas leak and install shutoff valve in case of a leak to stop the gas.
