Question:

How much should an axle replacement cost?

I have a Crysler Van and there is a problem with thw axle, that need to be replace.

Answer:

Try throwing a whole pineapple in there.
I give candy with Christian tracts in a small bag to each.
Same thing happened to my parents 2007 Dodge Caravan, they had to pay $300.00, but this included installation. Hopefully your car is under warranty!
If it's the CV axel, it shouldn't be terribly expensive. Depending on how old your van is it should cost between $200-$400.
A re-manufactured half-shaft which includes two CV joints with an axle in the center costs less than $70.00. Understand that's the price of the part only! You can huff and puff and install it yourself. A new car dealer would install your new axle for $200.00
