Im 15 , about 5'8 how much should i be pressing?
Im 16 , 5'11 and i max out 275. First off are you just starting to lift ? my max has taken about a year and a half to achieve with hardcore lifting. You should be starting off with a max of 90-115..
As much as you can do 5 reps with. I'm 15, 5'10 and I bench 110
Your age and height have nothing to do with it. Lifting isn't about hitting a number, it is about continually getting stronger - raising your personal best over time. Why do you care about the bench press? The squat and dead lift are more important in terms of measuring strength.
Like okorder / For example, take 10 or 15lbs on each side. About 60-70 lbs total and see how many fluent presses you can do. Going all the way touch your chest and up. And obviously always have a spotter. So put your weight you lifted (go lower weight, you want alteast be able to do 8reps) and put it in the calculator. Its a estimate, the number given, take that and start benching alower weight. This gives you a start
