Question:

how much to convert an attic ?

Have a completely empty attic ( no floor , windows etc.) Just some wiring and insulationHow much to properly convert it to a usable space?

Answer:

Depends on what you mean by usable spaceIs it going to be heated? Living space? That's expensive mainly because it's time-consumptiveIt's labor intensive to convert an attic to living space because there isn't much space to work and it takes forever to do anythingIf you just want to slap some flooring down to use it for storage that's relatively cheapHowever.as a former fireman I have seen my share of disasters that were either caused by, or exacerbated by, storing boxes of stuff in the atticDon'tYou're never really going to use the stuff anyway, so you might as well sell it or throw it awayUnless I had a very spacious attic with a very tall ceiling so that I could easily walk around, I just wouldn't do itIf I was building a house, I'd put an attic in where one could play ping-pong and etcup thereBut converting something that's preexisting doesn't often work due to the setup.
Funny how that you mirror, with your question, the frivolous spirit of certain ones in the eighteenth centuryThe leisure classI believe there is a spirit world but only the evil side breaks the silence between itself and the physical world of timeThis, only by permissionNo I don't believe in the ' prevailing wisdom ' take on itFarcical at bestAn insult to anyones' intelligence at worstAn area we do well to keep out of.
We lived in a house that was haunted growing upI was to little to know about ghosts, but I was always scared, and didn't know whyMy mom said I walked down the long hallway holding someones hand onceI was fourI was always frightened of the closet in my parents room, and my dad said no matter what he did he could never close the attic doorHe even nailed it shut and it still came openAlso one part of the basement was really creepy, we never went down thereAs for believing in haunting's, I do, because I experienced it, until we moved when I was 10The funny part about it is my parents built that houseSo we know no one had occupied it beforeBut that area in northeast Ohio was the northern most point of the civil war.
Have encountered ghosts or spiritsGrew up with one that liked to hide thingsHad a car pass me one night when I looked in the mirror could not see any evidence of one thereStrong probability I was abductedHave visions and hear spirit voices on occasion.
I used a Ouija Board with my friend a few years agoIt worked, we 'contacted' two peopleI know I wasn't doing it, and I know my friend wasn't either, she's my best friend to this day and I know her inside out and she was crying she was so scared, her hands were barely touching the glass she was shaking so much, same with meHowever I've read the 'plausible explanation' to this somewhere that says that it IS you pushing the glass because you are wanting it to happen and believing it will happen and your subconscious is doing it without your conscious knowledgeI'm hoping this is the case as it was done in my house! The strange thing was, however, that the 'woman' we 'contacted' said she came from a country that neither of us had ever heard ofWe later typed it into a search engine and found it used to be a country before the name was changedWe never wrote it down and I have unfortunately forgotten the name nowIt's strange that we both genuinely had never heard of the word before, yet it used to be a genuine countryHowever my plausible explanation for that is that perhaps one of us HAS heard the name sometime in our past, and without consciously remembering it, it's been stored in our subconscious long term memory and came out thenThat's what I really hope, anyway!
