Actually you need greater than 12.5 volts DC. which tells you that you have a good battery and it should have the amperage needed to do the job. Your battery pack needs to be charged and if it is old than it might not have enough amperage to start the vehicle. If so than buy a new one.
Minimum 10.5 volts any lower and it will not work.
