how much water, and money does the government waste from open pumps? (fire hydrants)?
I love to play in the rain, i guess i would say the only time i hate the rain is when it's thunderinglighting. Never in the winter I love the rain but i'm not crazy.
Goggles? Some are made to be worn over glasses- extra standoff space, relief by ears for glass ends. Lots of Industrial goggles designed for glass wearers and the 'sporting' goggles for motorcycles and ATVs, snowmobiles common to have extra space over nose for glasses to be worn. The ones to worry about are the 2 small port types sort of like swimmers goggles, they don't have the space for glasses. Get the large, single lens goggle with Lexan or thick polycarbonate 'glass' and you be able to see and not worry about rocks in eyes. I now have a helmet with face shield but still have the 1/2 helmet for students, passengers - I have a snowmobile goggle set and a couple industrial safety glasses to use with it- 1 of the industrial sets is meant for use with glass- frame is large 'flange' so shield part is about 3/4 inch forward of the simpler wrap around model, side shields are connected to the folding earpieces- helmet strap can go over the ear pieces to hold them on. Check the local optical stores for 'sports' or 'Industrial' safety glass's - they usually carry good stuff for their customers, the eyeglass wearers. Cycle/ATV shop likely to have some also- and often a good but cheap set can be found in farm supply or welding supply shop.
