How much would it cost to replace my car tyres with solid tyres (to eliminate the need for replacements) ?

Answer:

no such thing as solid rubber tires for a car. they run flat tires with very thick sidewalls. these run around 300 and some dollars each.
at least i am not surprised by this. look, what countries do people write TYRE instead of TIRE. the same kind where people think a solid rubber tire is a good idea. lets say you saved 200 bucks a year. that 200 bucks does not even cover the ball joints you would have replaced twice in that year.
Pneumatic tires are far superior to solid rubber tires (if they're even made anymore). In any event you would have to replace solid tires once the tread wore out anyway, unless you constantly had them resurfaced (probably costing you more in the short and long-run). And don't forget the poor ride quality, and jarring effect that solid tires will have on the suspension components, leading to their premature failure. On top of that solid tires would be prohibitively heavy, ruining your gas mileage and costing you even more money.
