Question:

How should I cook this chicken?

I have some boneless chicken breasts that I want to cookI cut them in half, resulting in 8 pieces totalI am going to bread themI will dip them in egg, then into some italian bread crumbs mixed with some parmesan cheeseI have had trouble making these in the pastThe breading comes out hard as a rock, with the chicken undercookedI used to set the oven to 350 and it took about 50 minutes just to get the chicken doneI was not using aluminum foilWhat should I set the oven to this time, and what should I do differently as far as cooking time? Any help would be greatly appreciatedThanks.

I also have a cat that tries to eat plastic, we have to be very careful to keep everything picked upHe usually does this most when he is craving to eat some grass so I go out in the yard and get some or sometimes buy some oat grass at the produce section of the market for him and he is fine for awhile until the grass starts turning yellow or drying up and then he tries to chew on plastic again! I think when cats do this they are lacking in some essential vitamins or something that they get out of the grass.
I guess she likes the taste of plasticThe only thing that I could recommend you to do is to cover the trash container up especially at nightOr keep the trash some where else so she can't get into itAnd, make sure you pick up any pieces of plastic you might find around your house.
I recycle the plastic bags I carry my groceries in as kitchen trash bagsMy little dog (Authentic American Mutt/ Heinz 57/Mama was gullible; Daddy is a traveling manIf you want Her pedigree, loved to rip out the bottom if the bags to get to what ever was insideI took really good hot sauce, Recipe is a family secret.Mixed it with whatever else I had that was noxious but non lethal and saturated the out side of the bagHe only needed 2 bags before he gave up on plasticSmart Dog! I'm wondering if mixing up a batch of hot saucewhatever you have o hand and poring it over the plastic bags would cause the cats to regard the bags as toxic?
It could be that your cat likes the feel or taste of the plasticI would recommend to try to keep plastic items out of your cat's reachIf she is getting in the trash can, put something over the top of the trash can to cover it Plastic items could be damaging if swallowedIt can also choke your cat if the item becomes lodged in his windpipe You might also try to encourage your cat to chew on cat toys insteadWhen you noticed your cat playing with a toy, be sure to praise your catThis will encourage your cat to play with the toy and reinforce the good behavior If this type of behavior persists, you may want to contact your veterinarian.
Ok this is what you can doBrown them on each side (until they just color) then remove them from the oilPreheat your oven to 450 degreesWhen you have them all browned (not cooked through) put them on a baking sheet with foil or in a pan large enough to hold them and bake them uncovered for about 25 to 40 mins.you may want to turn themThey will cook in the oven and not be hardBut if you prefry then bake they come out well.doing one or the other is not too goodFrying makes them hard and baking will either make them hard or not brown them enoughIf the juices makes the bottom kind of mushy, just remove them from the pan and broil them with the mushy side up for about 5 mins til crispyGood luck.
