How should i tape my hands for WR and Safety?
noooot a good idea in my opinion unless everyone knows what they're doing.
There is a lot of misunderstanding about elevators and fire. The elevators do NOT automatically go to the first floor or shut down. The fireman have a key that turns the elevators on and off. If you are in a chair and the fire is new - you go to the bathroom get a wet rag to hold over your face and you get into an elevator and get out immediately. The issue with elevators is not that their will be a fire in the elevator or the cable will catch fire, but that you are in a smoke filled room with no exit. If the fire is new you have more risk from not getting out quickly than from the risk of smoke inhalation. If the fire has already made the elevators smoke-filled you go to the area of safe refuge that is required on every floor of a multistory building. This is usually a landing of a stairwell, but may be a bathroom. The firemen know where these are and look for people in them.
