I'm going to knit a blanket out of it, and while it feels really soft right now, I was wondering if it's going to get any softer?Does it get softer than the Super Saver yarn at all? Does anyone have any suggestions to get it softer? (I've heard using hair conditioner helps?)Thanks in advance.

The stitch you use will have an effect on the softnessIf your stitch is tight, it will keep the item stiffer than will a looser, more cushiony stitchI have found that Red Heart Classic and Super Saver will both soften up considerably if they are machine washed and machine dried, particularly if you use commercial fabric softener (Downy, Snuggle, and so on)If that doesn't get the project soft enough for you, you can lightly steam the projectBe careful, though-too much steam will kill acrylic yarn and make it limpThat might be TOO soft!
