Question:

How tired is it to travel from Penang to KL by riding a kapchai motorcycle?

FYI, I have a 2007 Yamaha 125z with only 30k km mileage. Do anyone ever ride this far? Looking forward to listen some tips from those who have been travel by motorcycle

Answer:

no,they have basic electrics.check power to brake light switch.
Though I don't know how to ride a bike, but i think your yamaha should be able to reach 110km/hr quite easily so it won't take you very long to reach here . beside, on the way there are so many places you can take a rest while enoying some refreshments (I mean admiring some pretty girls walking by .)
it would be tiring but it would be a thrilling (adventure of a life time!!). i've never done it but i have seen some who did a convoy on their bikes (i guess that's more fun and safe rather than alone) along the north bound highway. as mentioned by other answerers, there are many rr areas that you can stop for rest. you will probably take 8 hrs to reach there i guess but safety comes first ok. alternatively you can take a train and put your motorbike in the cargo section (a fried of mine did this but it was a racing bicycle). when you arrive there, you can wizz around penang without feeling tired.
I have an inspiration story to share with you. My hubby works at 1 PC company and they open tender for After Sales Service Provider. Then come this one 'mamat' from Penang, riding his EX5-Kapchai, all the way from Penang you know, just to hand over his tender. People were giving a 'yalah tu' look at him, but my hubby accepted him with kind.(that's why I love my hubby) Happen to be, he is the one who was chosen as the winner of the tender. Now, he's a millionaire. Every fasting month, never forget to invite my hubby to break fastwhere? Palace of Golden Horses. Btw, now he's driving a Jaguar. Okay, back to your q Tired or not, depends on the purpose of your journey. If its worth travelling by 'kapchai' then go for it but never over look your safety, ok!
