I have a 2002 Pontiac bonneville, and the it has the notorious hard shifting afted it warms up, those gm transmission are known for those going bad, but how do you change one? Cause I do not have 1000+ dollars to take it to a shop to get it changed,
Try AAMCO! They are often checked for RIP OFF PRICES and are usually very reasonable! Try NHTSA for recalls that GM must pay for! I would try using a hoist, and dropping the OIL PAN and washing down the VALVE BODY and visible SOLENOIDS! I did this with a BENZ trans AND IT WORKED GREAT! BYE NOW!
