Ok one of my cats (layah a one year old Manx) got diarrhea and it got all over one of my kitchen dining chairs. There was also a nice mushy nugget on another chair. I clean the poop off the floor, and took a soapy hot sponge and cleaned the chairs (they have a fabric seat) is that enough? Or is there more that I need to do?
Are the chairs made of material that can handle bleach water? If not then I guess you've done all that you can. I would personally wipe them down with a mixture of bleach and water though, just to rid any germs. That would get rid of any scent that might attract your cat to come back to that spot, as well. What has your cat gotten into that made it sick? Put up all food, but leave some water down for the cat to drink. Make sure there is no garbage for the cat to get into. If your cat continues to have diarrhea, I would definitely take it to the vet.
properly I actually have a cat, that as quickly as she become youthful enjoyed to stand up on suitable of the cabinets and push up the ceiling boards and decide for an journey. What I did become lay aluminium foil down (cats do no longer in basic terms like the sound or feeling of it) on the counters that she had to leap onto to get to the suitable. After a pair weeks whilst she found out it become constantly there, she now no longer tempted it.
