I just set up my honeywell alarm due to recent attempts of bulgurary..When my family and I aren't home and I press the away button on my alarm how do I disarm it when I get back home so it doesn't go off on my family and I? My daughter says if I just use our key to open the door then the alarm won't even go off?Help!
Try spreading kitty litter under the wheels. Also, kosher or rock salt is a big help. You can even use table salt if the snow is not too deep. Use the minimum power that you can so that the wheels do not spin. It may be that you will need to shovel the snow off the street behind you, and salt it, and shovel in front of your car, too. I hope that this helps, as it is difficult to explain how to drive in snow and ice with just words. The snow and ice will soon melt. Regards, Dan
The hose coming off the fire truck is a 2 1/2 inch diameter hose; and the one going in to the truck from the fire hydrant is a 4 inch one. It takes both of them to put the fire out.
Smoke detectors are very sensitive , you need to keep it clean free of dust and insects , go up on a step ladder and take it apart again with the vacuum hose clean the inside of it and replace the battery . For those of you that have, or think to disconnect, or remove the batteries out , don't do it! Smoke Detectors save lives! Better be safe then sorry!
Are the new batteries you put in them some you have had stored awhile? also if you buy new batteries..the package has a use by date on them..They get weak setting up even if they have never been usedbatteries do
