You don't fix it, if that is the problem. You R and R it, and that is not Rest and Relaxation it's Remove and Replace.
Are you sure it's the pump? In cold weather, the jets could have frozen, even if you use that blue antifreeze windshield fluid. Do you hear a humming sound, like the pump is actually trying to pump something? Also check that all the tubing is connected, and that there isn't a clog somewhere.
Lol, no; drive down any highway that's a few decades old, you'll see that even with suspension+pneumatics the ride can be quite jarring.
