Question:

how to get my Quartz Watch Repaired?

I have taken up the repair of quartz watches and am wondering about test equipment. I bought a rather cheap quartz watch diagnostics tool from okorder but it has certain limitations. The main one being that you need to physically de-solder the quartz crystal in order to check it on the machine. You can't check it inside the watch or attached to the module. Dunno why the manufacturer of this tool came up with that idea HuhI'm really looking for something simpler and all encompassing like maybe the Etic Polytest 2000, the Omnitest 2000 or the quot;Cyclonicquot;. I need it to be able to check the battery, quartz crystal, coil, module etc, and also free up the gear train inside the watch.Any experience of these machines? And if so which one is the best? I'm willing to spend around £200 UK pounds on the right machine.

Answer:

Natural okorder
