Most items you have to gather by the ton in order to sellThat is why the city does it However, you can recycle aluminum cans for about 30 cents a poundThat is not much money for a whole lot of workUnless you own a bar that generates a lot of cans, it isn't really worth the time and effortAnd remember you have to do it legally - you can't steal them out of recycling containersYou pretty much have to find them discarded along side the road.
