Question:

How to lift a 1998 Jeep Wrangler?

I have a 1998 Jeep Wrangler and Im looking to put on a two inch suspention lift on it come spring. Would any one know how to do this job or have any tips.

Answer:

u can take it to a 4x4 shop and they can do it or u can buy the parts from them and get some instuction.
I have had good luck with Rancho lift kits, they are also reasonably priced. Hope this helps!!
i did the same thing on my 03 rubicon very easy to do. however i had a car lift so that helps but considering the average person doesnt have one you can easily use jack stands and put them on the frame. all you have to do is lift the front with the jack and put it on the jack stands and disconnect the sway bar and take off the tires. then when in the air this will loosen up your springs so you just have to play with it and theyll slide right out which then you put on the spacers and then put the spring back in. take off the old shocks put on the new ones and do the same exact thing to the rear. its cake i had a real easy time doin this only took a couple hours also if you werent considering it id get some quick disconnects for your sway bar so you get the most flex when you go 4 wheeling.
It will never come out looking right. It will not bleach evenly nor dye evenly
