I purchased an Ipod 120gb last yr. And I didn't know how to lock it. I mean no lock at all, just lock a part of it, something like video, or music, or photos. Do I need to buy or download any software for that?
Either go to the laundromat or get a drying rack to hang the clothes on. They sell them at kmart.
It is against the fire code for your landlord to allow obstructions in the hallways. If the landlord did not enforce this rule they would be subject to fines and other penalties. If there was a fire and someone got hurt or killed they would be subject to major lawsuit. You will have to find another way to dry your clothes.

Line drying your clothes isn't going to make you ill. That won't put nearly enough moisture in the air to be a problem. In fact, in the wintertime especially, it's GOOD for your lungs and skin to put back some of the moisture freezing temps take away.
Go the the laundrymat and use a clothes dryer.
