How to make axles for mouse trap car?

Answer:

You're not buying a 350 for a commuter, you're buying it as a sports car. Thus, Manualwin; AutomaticEPIC FAIL.
depends on what you want it for if you want for speed and performance go manual if u want stylish get automatic
check science book for more info
Depends on exactly what you are trying to do. If you are going for max distance, one problem is that the mouse trap wants to release all it's energy in a very short time. If any of that energy is lost in slipping (spinning the wheels for example), that energy is not helping the car move. Of course, if the axle does not turn easily, some energy will be lost in friction but, you will probably find that your frictional losses will be TINY compared to the loss of stored energy if the wheels (or any part of the drive system) slips when mouse trap is triggered. One strategy (and there are many) is to gear up the transmission so that a small motion of the trap produces a large motion of the wheels. Pulleys and string is one way to acheive this. Good luck
