I am not a Jew, but I am a born again Christian. Correct me if I am wrong but I think the point of the seder dinner is to remember Jews' ancestors in Egypt when the passover happened. I would like to have a seder dinner with my family. Is there a website that gives all the proper directions, print offs, and recipes to hold a seder dinner?
Maxwell House has a great haggadah which you can get with their coffee. Plus there are a lot of pasover cookbooks available.. Enjoy!
You can't PRFORM a seder dinner. You don't PERFORM a seder dinner. You aren't Jewish. You aren't SUPPOSED to have a seder. You are wrong. The point of the seder is for JEWS to follow the commandments made to THEM. YOU aren't supposed to do it...there is no print off, there are no directions. Christians aren't supposed to HOLD seders. They may GO to one if invited...there's nothing wrong with participating, but it's far too complicated, and one must KNOW what one is doing. You don't just decide on Erev Pesach to throw a seder. It takes knowledge, understanding, tradition, planning. You have to buy special foods, and prepare them correctly. Why don't you get yourself a tiny bit more organized, and find someone to invite you to theirs. Most likely next year, but it's not too late for this year...many people do them on the second night...or later in the holiday.
