how to remove rear axle on a dana 44 1998 tj?
if you have to ask that question ,don't try to drift
I am going to assume that you are wanting to pull the axle shaft from the housing. You will have to remove the rear cover and both wheels and drums. Next remove the cross pin that runs through the rear differential then push the axle in so you can access the c clip the retains the axle and it will pull out very easy. then just reverse the process to put it back together.
