Question:

How to stop a smoke detector from going off?

I read that wrapping it in saran wrap does the trick, but as soon as I wrapped it, it went off! hah. I don't really feel like opening it up and taking the battery out or something. I feel like that would also set off some sort of alert.

Answer:

Hi Jeff, WOW! This takes me back! LOL. I loved scavenger hunts in my younger days. However, I've never been on an adult one? Well, I guess it would depend on the neighborhood. If it was more upscale, the items might be: shot-glass, men/women under-garment's [of some sort], bottle of wine, sun-glasses, a page out of a dirty magazine [Playboy etc.], golf balls, doggie-biscuit's. If the neighborhood were middle/lower class the items might be: bottle of beer, frisbee, can of soup, playing card(s), a page out of a dirty magazine [Hustler etc.], golf balls, doggie-biscuit's? Anyway Jeff, have a great time! XOXO Moonpie P.S. I know I'm going to recieve a lot of flack for my response, and in no way did I mean to offend anyone.
My sister buys from GAERLAN.call 187 for their number. There are those sold in Ace Hardware and the like but I'd go with buying direct-these guys give guarantee, and can do refil/routine check annually.Good luck!
.ph Just search fire extinguisher or any product that you are looking for. Beware of scammers.
