Question:

How would you drive a car (the Audi R8) that sits very low to the ground?

I am wondering specifically about the Audi R8 and a customized version of it, the ABT Audi R8 GTS. How would you drive these cars on the streets without scraping them up on speed bumps, driveway curbs, ramps, etc.? Would I have to get it lifted?

Answer:

No states require blankets or special windows. A few require X number of extinguishers per number of units. It would be a state law, the fire marshall can tell you what your state requires, they enforce that.
I think they only have to provide smoke detectors but every city is different. call your local fire dept and ask them what the laws are. you may have to buy your own fire extinguisher.
Unless there is a local law, it is not required. Most places require fire alarms and basic rules about how many people can live there, but the other things you mentioned, I've never seen in places I've lived.
both types have there pros and cons . get the best of both worlds with a flip face helmet .
