Question:

Husband smokes in bed often after drinking then gets mad if I complain, why?

Burns are in the pillows, blankets, dustruffles, cloths and floors! My uncle died in a fire from his mother smoking in bed. He says I do'nt let up and gets mad he do'nt get it.

Answer:

It depends on what specific smoke detector you have, but most smoke detectors twist off the base plate, but make sure you turn it off first! I would also double check on the circuit board that it's turned off. You'll need to release the plug from the socket with a small screwdriver. Unscrew the wire nuts, pull the two wires apart, then screw the nut back onto the wire. I hope this helps!
yea use it alot the smell should go away
