It's lightweight with a cardboard backing. I'm wearing a button-down sweater.I just spent about 20 minutes trying to safety-pin it without pulling on my clothing or showing the pins I have about half an hour, agh!
get a dremmel or a drill and a cutting wheel. bolt cutters might work if they are cheap locks. cutting wheel will be the fastest though.
Depending on where you ride there COULD actually BE a bump in the road every 20 meters or so Does your bike have air adjustable shocks on the rear? If so, check the air pressure 25-30 psi when riding solo and 40-45 psi when riding with a passenger can make a great difference in ride comfort.
Look at the bottem of the locks, see if the bottem is ribbited on, if it is then get a screwdriver and drive it between the lock and the plate, the ribbites should pop out and the plate should fall off. Then the tumbler will fall out(the keyed part) and then put the screwdriver in the tumbler slot and turn the screwdriver and the lock will pop open!
