I can't touch certain fabrics?

Okay,So you know velvet?i don't know if that's what its called, but where you can rub it one way and its soft, and you can rub it the other and its rough?i have always - since i can remember - had an issue with this fabricevery time i touch it i have to hold on to clench my fists together, press down on my nails extreamly hard, and bite all my fingernails offas time progressed its started progressing itself, at this point in time i can't touch velvet, fleece, yarn, swade, anything overly soft (other than silk)And then theres days where i can't touch paper, like today in class i couldn't touch/look at my book without flipping outi could touch my hair, i couldn't touch my shirt or jeans.the only thing i could do is rub my hands togetheris there something wrong with me?i mean im not a freak, im a normal teenage girl hahabut this is really getting too muchhelp.anyone?!

Answer:

never use aluminium in the drier to cover plasitics it overheats could melt the plastics and in the washer it stains from the detergents that arent made to clean aluminiums , just fabrics ,causing clothes to become stained tooalso if it comes off in the wash it can block the machine up and cause lots of damage to the machine
Look up sensory defensiveness - it's actually pretty common.
My MIL has been usung foil for 20 yearsI would not reccomend drying, although I once got foil into the dryer and nothing happenedIf you are worried about breaking a button, wash it on gentle cycle My thinking is, rather resew a button than be busy wrapping it in foil.
