Question:

How to protect new fruit - ziplock baggies?

I covered budding apples and figs with ziplock baggies to protect against birdsIs this a good idea or not? I made holes in the bags to let air circulate and drain moisture.

A better idea would be to hang aluminum foil strips from the branches, or cover your tree with bird nettingEven with holes in the baggies, I'm afraid too much humidity will build up and damage your fruit.
