Question:

Why are my pipes from the well to the holding tank making a loud humming noise?

The pipe and switch leading to the holding tank are vibrating and creating a loud hum. I can hear it from the bedroom above the holding tank. I put in some compressed air and it stopped but when I used the water it continued again. The air pressure gauge is at 30 but my pressure is fine. The pump from the well kicks on at 20. Please help., Should I empty the tank and put in more air and how do I do this. How much air should I put in? This is a bladder tank is 30 years old. Thanx for your help

Answer:

I'll go with Iron man since he got lots of arsenal of weapons.
How quickly you will get stuck. That is the difference.
Tires are designed to operate in one environment, that is to say they are purpose built. For example: racing slicks-run hot and give maximum grip on dry paved surface, dirt tires- knobby to grab into the LOOSE material found off road snow tires: aggressive tread with studs to grip into ice. If you used any of these tires out of their respective environments it may work OK or less than(imagine slicks on ice), but the design of the tire doesn't function as intended. Road tires are purpose built for use on paved ground, not for sand. Id say its absolutely worth the price, and you will have much better traction with a sand tire Hope this helps and some others with more experience on the subject chime in.
