I recommend buying an alarm clock, not relying on your cell phone. Avoid digital clocks- the relatively bright numbers can disturb sleep. Old fashion ringing alarm clocks work wonders. They sound like an old fashion fire bell. I've used one for years, and it has not failed me. Also, try to avoid having the source of the alarm within arm's reach. This will make it harder to turn off the alarm in your sleep.
