i have this 1990 Bmw 750il, i bought it and tuned it up for $2000 already last 4th of July my family and i where driving it around and we broke something within the Hydraulic Level-ride system and now both the back wheels sit in the wheel well of the body.i have asked around and the repair could be anywhere from $500-2500 depending on what actually broke i have check Kelly-Blue-Book on its relative price which is set at 1600(poor) - 2700(excellent)when i initially put it up for sale the only price someone was willing to pay was $800 .after 30mins of talking prices started me at $450my question is this should i repair this car and run it till it diesor just sell it for what i can and lick my wounds of the lost money?
Isn't that a question you need to ask yourself? After all, no one here knows the state of your personal finances better than you. What people don't seem to understand is that M-Benz, BMW, Porsche, etc, all manufacture precision-made automobiles that REQUIRE vigilant, regular maintenance. Failing this prescribed regimen, you will end up with something on your hands that makes you very unhappy. If you want to play, you have to pay. It's just that simple.
