Would it be a fuse and if it is does it mess the airbag up if u pull the fuse?
best thing to do is i would take it up to an autozone they will hook up the computer to find out why the light is on and they do it for free. Other places i know will charge $50 and up. After you find out why your airbag light is on go from there. If its just a simple fuse problem that is something you could take care of. but if they need to re-set something in the computer they might be able to do that but if that atleast you know what needs to be done and take it to a shop to have it done. With you knowing why the light is on and what they need to fix it that should avoid having to have the shop hook it up to their diagnostic computer and charge you for that.
1nce i car has electrical problems u can fix it all u want but they ALWAYS come back!sorry 4 ur bad luck.and dnt think couse ur car is fairly new it cant happen, couse there are cars with 0miles and in the dealer with electrical issues.
It's a ground issue it sounds like to me so try creating a whole new fresh ground for the stereo system and the stereo or amp might need a different 12 volt positive feed source then what you're currently using , try checking all the wiring closely bec it is a wiring issue for sure. Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way be sure that the amp or stereo has it's only solid ground and again you might need to supply the amp etc it's own power via the battery and a fused wire system or via the fuse box etc. Also check the battery, starter, alternator, engine block ground posts they might need to be disconnected one by one and cleaned with a wire brush , sandpaper a file etc and be sure that the o-ring wire connectors are cleaned too, plus add some anti-moister electrical contact jell to the connections once their cleaned fully.
