Question:

I have a computer build question or lots of them?

Ok look I am still debating about which cpu to get for uses of both gaming and hd video editing and recording. I am debating between an i5 2500k and a bulldozer fx-8120 only those 2 cpus are the ones I want so which one is best for those 2 needs oh and games like (BF3,Mw3 etc.)Also How do I keep crossfire 6950s at cool temps I will be getting a cooler for the amd cpu so no need to worry about that and one last question I will be using a corsair obsidian 800d with tthat much space will their be enough air flow and ventalation for all the components thanks for answering guys!!!!!

Answer:

spend the extra $30 and get the 2500k for sure
They sell computers at the store now.
The 2500k owns at gaming, but the FX-8120 is a little faster with media editing. As far as the pair of 6950's go, as long as you have enough fans going in your 800d, you should be fine; otherwise, look to a Cooler Master HAF932 instead.
@ esorass, yes they sell computers at the store for twice the price of what you can build.. To the point - I know this isn't what you want to hear, but clearly you have not purchased a motherboard yet. It seems as though you want to budget a 200$ processo
The i5-2500k is the better choice here. There's very little reason to get a Bulldozer. The 800d will have more than adequate ventilation. I wouldn't worry about the 6950's getting too hot. @snowboard817, LGA 1155 isn't dead or even close to it. The upcoming Ivy Bridge CPU's will use LGA 1155. Now, what you have is a dead platform. LGA 2011 has replaced LGA 1366. There will be no further LGA 1366 CPUs. So I'm not sure what you getting on about in regards to LGA 1155 being an old platform. LGA 1155 will remain a viable platform until Haswell.
