Whenever I hear a fire alarm in my building, I just panic, freak out, go to my bathroom (the only room in my suite that doesn't have a fire alarm speaker) and listen to static for about half an hour at full volume on a portable crank radio. I only ask this because my building has a problem the fire alarms go off a lot, and most of the time, it's just because the hallway smoke detectors were so sensitive that they reacted to dust particles. My parents have already tried disconnecting all the speakers except the one in their room, and while that did help a lot, we got fined and the speakers were reconnected. I don't know why I'm so scared. It's just a noise that comes from a speaker. I think it's stupid that I'm so terrified of fire alarms, but it's affected my entire life today, I haven't eaten all day thanks to the alarm going off all day because of a flood in the elevators. Does anyone have a way I can overcome that fear so I don't have to hide in my bathroom listening to static?
You can use your parental control in the control panel. You can also use your firewall to allow blocking access to certain websites ~ it's better practice to block URLs, try not to block IPs. Make sure you password protect :) If you don't want younger people accessing and configuring certain areas of your Operating System then create a user level access account. This will better measures and prevent configuration of important aspects of your OS. You can grab free firewalls online :) Good luck :)
You are going to have to replace the outer door panel, it is a plastic outer panel that is removed by many screws around door- screws on inside of door. May need to be painted
