Question:

Should I take the aluminum foil off of the cubed butternut squash?

I have cubed up some butternut squash and tossed it with chopped onion and seasoningI threw a little (1/4c) water in there and covered the casserole with aluminum foilIt's been baking at 350 for a whileI just checked it, almost done, not evenlySome pieces are still hardShould I take off the aluminum foil for the last 20 min or will that just dry it out???

Answer:

im not sure, but im pretty sure it would be smart to throw it outMaybe 1 week expired is fine, but a whole year? probably unsafe
if it was stored in a cool dry place, it's fineIt just may have lost some flavorIt won't poison you or get you sick thoughIt might be some regulation to put expiry dates on drinks to make the consumer awareIt's fine though.
Stale tea WONT make you may have the runs it will just style stale except it's been in an airtight container where case it will be great easy solution tea's no longer steeply-priced chuck it and purchase some more
Anything that has the smell usually means its spoiled so i recommend not drinking it saying that you may get sick from itEven tho its best used by may,2012 face its been a year and having a nice drink isn't going to be great but i guess you can drink it if you want the tea benefits but its just not going to be well to drink.
take the foil off and they might roast a little (brown on a few spots) but that just adds great flavor
