No don't count on eating cornflakes. you need to take a dietary supplement called dessicated liver if you don't want to eat spinach, broccoli, lentils or beef.

If you can swallow pills I'd suggest just taking an iron supplement every day. I don't think cornflakes are the best source of iron.
I had iron defiency myself when I was a child. I took some iron supplements but it's better to just eat foods high in fiber. For cereals you can try Fiber 1, it's packed with iron and fiber. Cream of wheat soup has a lot of iron in it and just plain veggies and fruits will be good:)
