Answer:

I have made dozens of ghillie suits over the last 15yrs, and frankly, the only weathering that I do is to drag it behind my truck down a sand road. The sand will weather and wear the fibers, and it roughs out all of the shine. Don't just take off and drag it 100miles, but drag it a mile or so on one side and check how well it has weathered, drag farther if needed, then flip it over and drag it on the other side. Frankly, in airsoft games, I don't know if a ghillie suit makes any sense to me. You're too close up to fire undetected, and if you DO have to move, a ghillie suit will make you VERY visible. The ghillie suit turns you into a HUGE amorphous blob, which is great when you're trying to blend in with the grass/brush around you, but as soon as you stand up and start moving, you're a HUGE object, very easy to spot.
As harley said, No mud ! Just use it get it dirty ! The shine will dissipate . The commies will NEVER come with boots on the ground to U S soil, That would be SUICIDE for them !!!! In a nation full of marksmen with hi power rifles !
So are you going to get up and put out a fire?
I would say blonde or brown just because of the skin tone cause my friend had the same problem and got black and it really didn't look good on her so do blonde or brown!
never buy a ghost suit, you should have made your own! then again you play airsoft so yeah. was it a couple times with some sand at a laundry mat
