Question:

I just purchased a bike, where would I put the chain lock to protect it best?

I never owned a bike before, and bike theft happens a lot here. What lock is the best, where would I put it through where to make it hard to steal my bike? I currently have chain link coil wrapped in plastic, with a combination lock. Would this be enough or should I get an additional U shaped lock with a bar that hooks your bike to something? I am lostthanks.

Answer:

thats like asking what the wiper fluid caps on the humvees were made of during desert storm
No, they are not safe to use (and not because of that warning). You should not hit the bag with MMA gloves, since they are too small, and are not designed for that (4oz), you should use at least 8oz boxing gloves.
All season tires carry a MS rating (mud and snow) There is no such thing as a tire made only for mud AND snow. There are off road mud tires (but not in your size), and there are snow tires. If you want dedicated snow tires, go ahead and get all 4 on steel wheels and use a quality set of all season tires the other 3 seasons. Snow tires are constructed of a softer rubber that will wear quickly during warm weather. PA, like New York, is very good at snow removal, but traction is what you need, so save the deepest treaded snow tires on the vehicle as short a time as possible.
