I need 3.00X18 motorcycle tires?

1886 and was shipped over and rebuilt brick by brick
I needed one same size last year, but all suppliers had all brands in this size on back-order. I finally called and found two, only two, in bike shops in all of Colorado. And I was looking for both standard and metric sizing. Wound up with a crappy Chin Shin because it was the only tyre that I could locate in that size. And had to drive over 100 miles for that. They should be available (I was told by suppliers) Dec 1st, at lest that is what I was told in April.
Do you need road tires or off-road (knobbies) tires? Knobbies are pretty common, but road tires are not. Dunlop makes a K70 road tire and Cheng-Shin makes a cheap copy of it (C180). The Dunlop is about 60-80 bucks, the Cheng-Shin is about 20 to 30 bucks.
