Question:

I need a face mask or shield that will keep my face warm . What would be the perfect type ??

I work on the riverfront unloading ships and .. the wind and cold can be terrible. I need a face shield mask goggles . one that will especialy . keep my eyes from freezing. I must be able to wear my glasses under it .. and it should be fog proof. It would be better if it can cover my nose .. perhaps my mouth .. should be clear around the eyes to provide maximum vision. Anyone have any suggestions for the optimum gear ??

Answer:

Maybe you can get some info from the Dept of Transportation in a state they are allowed, last time I knew they were still legal in Colorado for example. Here in WI they were outlawed in the mid 70s
That is horrible and I'm a bit horrified by the insensitivity of some of these answers. I hope the driver of the van was charged to the fullest extent of the law. People do show emotions differently. Was the driver in shock at all? It does seem like the driver would have stopped immediately. I contacted the police in my city yesterday regarding speeding cars on my street. I nearly got hit by a neighbor. I thought I'm glad that I have a fast reaction time. I know that other people don't. We need to do more to combat speeding. It is too common these days. Speed bumps seems like quite an effective way to slow cars down. Kids are unpredictable and that's why people who drive should never speed, especially in an area where kids are known to be. If you are unsure then play it safe and drive with caution. I know the police write a lot of tickets in my area but it doesn't seem to be enough of a deterrent.
