I need to plug my 1/4 inch bass guitar amp cable into a small mixer. That can only control if more sound is coming from the left, or from the right. The left and right outputs should also be 1/4 inch audio cable. I wouldn't even mind a kit. I just need it.
Any small stereo mixer with a pan control will do it. Depends on your budget really, and whether you want to put other instruments/voices/music players through the same mixer. I'd recommend Yamaha and Peavey as good mid-range mixers.
