Answer:

If it's a shimamo IX-4000 reel you don't need a SPINCAST rod-you need a SPINNING rod;spincast reels are used on top of the rod like baitcasters You're looking for a rod that may not exist-once you start talking about throwing one ounce (or more) lures you're usually into the heavy action class,-which are built to have backbone and not to be super-sensitive-you can get an Ugly stik,Ugly stik Lite or Berkley Lightning Rod in a medium-heavy class designed for lures up to 3/4 ounce for around 40-50 bucks-you can still use heavier lures with these-I've fished one ounce spoons for pike and muskie on rods rated for 5/8 ounce-a MH action rod will handle most of the fish you'll catch anywhere anyway.
You can't go wrong with a G-Loomis GL3 or GL4-awesome rods.
Yes, it is okay for you to keep (and use) those gloves :)
The factory alarm in most cars is only a theft deterrent system that immobilizes the vehicle if someone tries to start it without a key that has been encoded specially to start it. That's the anti-theft system on most vehicle stickers. In 2010 an alarm system wasn't a factory option (installed on the assembly line) nor available as a dealer option (Honda equipment, but installed at the dealer when you get the car or anytime after). If you really wanted one there are dozens of ones available that you could get installed at a Best Buy or local stereo shop. In my experience of owning 12+ cars over 15 years though, alarms aren't helpful for anything (having two cars with alarms). I've had stuff stolen out of cars before but that takes seconds and a blinking light isn't a deterrent. And if someone really wants your car, or anything in it - they'll get it. Common sense in how you park, where you park, what's visible in your car, what you're doing/driving like right before you park, etc., have a pretty strong impact on the security of one's car, in my opinion. Oh and the panic button is sort of only a where's my car in this parking lot / rape whistle type button.
